I started in the care industry after leaving school. It was something that I wanted to do, and I spent many years in a nursing home as a carer working a varied shift pattern so that I could be with my growing family after school and weekends.

Over the next few years I worked my way through various care roles at a local residential home eventually becoming the Manager. I then took on a more challenging role as Deputy manager at a home for people living with Dementia.

I had worked in Dom care previously and took my years of experience of both good and bad practice to work with T&S to ensure good practice with a team of dedicated skilled workers.
